Annoyed Sergio Ramos On Cristiano Ronaldo Exit Rumours

The relationship between Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo seems troubled in recent weeks, and the Spaniard appeared to be annoyed recently when asked whether or not the Portuguese could leave the club.

Ramos recently suggested that some of Ronaldo's gestures during matches might not help the team after he once again showed his frustrations following his sixth blank in his last seven La Liga games despite a 3-0 win over Las Palmas.

This week, new reports of Ronaldo apparently being "angry" with the club's latest contract offer surfaced, and Ramos was asked about the exit rumours regarding his teammate.

However, according to ESPN, the Spaniard appeared annoyed when asked about Ronaldo's future and brushed off the question, saying: "Ask him, I lose track of these things."

Other reports suggest that Ronaldo's relationship with Ramos has gone sour amid a power shift in the dressing room.

It has been claimed that while the Portuguese lost some influential team members such as Pepe, James Rodriguez and Fabio Coentrao, Ramos has gained more support from the young Spanish generation in the squad.

All the distraction could not come at a worse time for manager Zinedine Zidane, with Los Blancos facing crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid in a derby on Saturday. Real are already eight points behind FC Barcelona on the La Liga log, and cannot afford another defeat in the title race.

The game would be the perfect opportunity for Ronaldo to silence his doubters – he has scored just one goal in La Liga so far this season. However, Atletico are the 32-year-old's second favourite opponent, having scored 21 goals in 29 appearances against them.
